Tampa Boat Show Review

Tampa Boat Show Review

The Tampa Boat Show was a hit again this year. There were boats of all sizes available to view and crawl around on both outside and inside of the Tampa Convention Center.

The boats that were the most fun to get on and check out were the yachts. Priced at over one million dollars and some well over that, they were appointed with most of the things you could imagine and some you would not.

Wood floors, granite counter tops, wine storage coolers, plasma TV’s, you get the picture. State of the art electronics included full color charts, depth finders, radar and full electrical panels for the engines and all of the other cool gear.

The mid level and smaller boats were well represented as well. Everything from jet boats to pontoon boats to wave runners could be found on the main floor of the convention center. Master Craft, Larson and Hurricane seemed to be among the more popular models for the cruising style boats.

If you get the chance, definitely check this show out next year. With it being right on the water it is definitely a fun atmosphere and the sponsors do it right. There was a bar outside and live entertainment as well as beverages available inside with the football games of the day showing.

Check out the slide show for some of the cool boats and features.
